Science is now offering society powerful tools for controlling threats to human life, health and security; but at the same time, scientists are aware that the solutions of the past were often the cause of serious new problems. This film explores the opportunities and dangers of the new scientific frontiers and examines human and environmental repercussions of current attempts to control weather.
