Shows the official opening; presentation of silver kangaroo to sir Charles Maclean; visit by the Governor and Chief Scout of Victoria; demonstration of Maori cooking; girl guide pageant attended by Lady Delacombe; thanksgiving; arena displays by each state; closing parade and candlelight ceremony. No narration.
