Shows how the city of Antwerp is still dependent today on sea-borne traffic as it has been since the middle ages. Interwoven with the impression of the city is the arrival, docking, discharging, refuelling and departure of the freight ship ‘City of Karachi’. (Awards: Edinburgh Festival, 1953)
