The building of the Sirinumu Dam on the Loloki river of New Guinea. A secondary supply of electric power was needed to serve industrial and domestic Port Moresby. A complete record of the project from the planning, the purchase of land from the indigenous peoples, the drilling and dynamiting to the final opening of the dam gate.
