Episode number 8 of Series “The Technique of anaesthesia”.
Deals with the general principles of administering the spinal anaesthetic. Two techniques are shown: the first using solutions heavier than cerebro-spinal fluid, and the second using solutions lighter than cerebro-spinal fluid. Their practical application is shown, using nupercaine as the anaesthetic agent.
