Shows the types of equipment employed to recharge storage batteries: valve rectifier chargers, the more efficient metal rectifier chargers, trickle chargers to keep batteries in storage fully charged, and fast chargers such as are used at motor service stations. Demonstrates correct procedure to be observed before charging: thorough washing of cell covers and cleaning of terminals; adjustment of electrolyte level; checking polarity of battery and charger terminals; and if more than one battery is to be charged, connection in series.
