Follows the story of Wendy Johnston from the eighth month of her pregnancy to the birth of her first child, a son, Eric. Wendy and her husband Richard are seen attending classes in the Lamaze method of prepared childbirth, and practising the breathing exercises at home. As a result, wendy is in complete control of her body during labour and is fully aware of the experience.
