A record of an expedition of 12 people who crossed a little-known area of the Victorian Mallee known as the Sunset Country to find out more about the wild life that lives there. Members of the party included C. Austin, R. Boswell, D.G. Corke, D. Holland, M.A. Howard, F.E. Lobb, A.R. McEvey, E. Molesworth, G.M. Pizzey, H.M. Ross, H.N.B. Wettenhall. Commentary by Graham Lynden.
