A pictorial description of the famous swannery of Abbotsbury in Dorset. Over 500 pairs of swans dwell in the grounds of the ancient Benedictine Monastery of Abbotsbury, and in the pleasant acres leading to the river banks the graceful birds live and rear their young; shows the parent birds at their nest, and the appearance of the fledglings.
