Tells the story of the growing and harvesting of pears, apricots and peaches in the Ardmona District of Northern Victoria. Shows the huge cannery in operation at Mooroopna - grading, peeling, coring, cutting, filling cans, adding syrup and sterilizing, labelling, packaging and finally despatching cartons. Gives a picture of a worker’s typical day and life in the caravan park. Features Joan Harris and Frederick Parslow.
