Important historical documentary which records the construction of Sydney’s Harbour Bridge from 1926 when work was first commenced through to its official opening eight year later. Features footage of dignitaries at the Opening Ceremony including the Governor General, NSW Premier (J.D. Lang) but most significantly, De Groot unceremoniously cutting the ribbon and then being taken away.
