A study of the Taj Mahal in Agra. An impression of the interior and exterior of the old mausoleum, and the surrounding gardens; story of Shar Jahan and the erection of Taj Mahal to the memory of his wife; the blending of Saracenic and Hindu styles in the architecture; the inlay work in some precious stones, marble bas-reliefs and the lace-like marble screens around the tombs.
