Thamesmead is a new community being developed on the site of the Royal Arsenal by the London Borough Councils of Greenwich and Bexley, co-operating with government departments, private developers and representatives of many organisations. Its 17,000 homes will provide a new community for 60,000 Londoners. Shows the thinking and planning that has gone into Thamesmead.
