Episode of “The World is ours” series
A UNESCO experiment in the Nile Valley where in a few years, by improving agricultural methods and hygiene, and encouraging education, enormous advances have been made in the living standards of Egyptian villagers. A centre was established in the Nile delta for technical and general education which attracted students from all over the Middle East and became the nerve centre of great changes.
