An investigation of alcoholism in Victoria. Traces the gradually degenerating life of an alcoholic. Considers alcoholism as a social problem, its relationship to road accidents and crime; and the work being done at St Vincent’s Hospital, Gresswell Rehabilitation Centre and by Alcoholics Anonymous.
