Episode of Series “Big country”.
Looks at the situation at Gove, after the 1971 Land Rights Case, in which the native title claims of the local people against the Nabalco Corporation were defeated. Considers the effect of the decision on the people of Yirrakala. Construction workers talk about their attitudes and relations with the local First Nations people. Shows social life and bauxite mining procedures.
