Episode of Series “Making Sense of Society”.
Presents two real-life cases of individuals who have actually experienced being unemployed. Dave Hunt of Sunderland has been out of work for 8 years. John Lockyer of Watford was unemployed for 4 months in 1971 but has been continuously in employment since then. Demonstrates the effect unemployment has had on their lives and their families.
