Cinesound Review No. 1198 newsreel. The story of the first Vickers Viscount aircraft bought in England for Trans Australia Airlines. The flight to Australia from London was made at 22,000 feet via Rome, Athens, Beirut, Karachi, Delhi, Singapore, Darwin and Melbourne and completed in an hour less than two days flying time.
