With the aid of complex instruments such as the ultra-centrifuge and the electron microscope, the use of tissue cultures and animal experimentation, we see how scientists in a modern virology laboratory explore the nature of viruses, how these viruses exist and how we can use this knowledge to improve our health and well-being.
