Surveys progress made on the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme up until 1953. Chronicles the work which has preceded production of the film, including excavations, maintaining communications and supplies during the winter months, living conditions for workers, as well as an overview of the aims of the scheme and the amount of power it will ultimately supply.
