An explanation of how to use the Australian designed Wilson Rescue Hoist, developed with assistance by the Australian Stevedoring Industry Authority. Although designed primarily for use in ships’ holds, the Hoist can be applied to numerous other serious situations. It is simple to set up and can be carried and operated by one man.
