Every year, a fashion contest to promote wool as a fabric is held by the Australian Wool Bureau. In 1960, Melbourne compered the awards and this film shows many of the winning entries in the fifty-five sections. Those modelled include suits, coats, dresses, knitwear and slacks. The supreme award for 1960 is the climax of the parade of gold medal winners, held at the end of four days judging.
