The introduction of work study to a typical medium sized printing firm, handicapped by lack of space and shows how work study can help to combat rising costs and improve productivity. Emphasis is on need for consultation between management and the chapels throughout the exercise. Method study and work measurement are explained. Specific examples demonstrate the advantages of applying work study to every branch of the industry.
