The music and dance group Steel ‘n’ Skin represents a fusion of African and Caribbean cultures. Its director, Peter Blackman, explains the group’s real emphasis is on encouraging harmonious race relations. The group is shown on a ten-day tour of Merseyside (Liverpool) performing and encouraging community involvement in dance, African and Caribbean instrument making, Afro-Caribbean Cooking and making African clothes and prints.
