History of citizen action for the protection of the Wilamet River in Oregon, U.S.A., and the current program - Project Foresight - for the preservation of open space and the limiting of urban sprawl so that both the Wilamet Valley and the Wilamet River remain free of cumulating industrial wastes and continue to be agriculturally fertile and productive
