Episode of Series “Big country”.
Looks at the life of a half-caste Aborigine who killed a dozen white people in 1900. He is immortalised in Thomas Keneally’s novel, and Fred Schepisi’s film of the book, The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith. A Big Country filmed Keneally on location and includes interviews with Fred Schepisi and Tommy Lewis, who plays Jimmie Blacksmith.
