Episode number 2 of Series “History of Australian Cinema Series”.
Traces the history of the Australian film industry in the decade 1920-1930. Includes material from fifty newsreels, sixteen feature films and still photographs drawn from our seventy collections. The program looks at the 1927 Royal Commission of Enquiry and Film Bill of 1927, as well as footage of the Regent, capitol and Old State Theatre of Melbourne.
