Presents an animated adaptation of the story of the same title by Tomi Ungerer in which Monsieur Racine discovers a strange creature in his backyard. Tells how he becomes good friends with the creature but still cannot identify it and relates how he visits the Academy of Science in Paris for help. Animators include Irena Jandova, Milan Klikar, Vera Kudinova, Bohumil Sejda. Suitable for lower and middle primary levels.
