Following the Amazon River to its sources in the High Andes of Peru, this film surveys the geography of the Maranon river area and the peoples way of life and variation in climate and vegetation on the western and eastern slopes and in the foothills of the Andes. Also shown is the city of Iquitos - the trade centre of the Upper Andes and its environs, the abundantly productive rainforests No other credits available.
