Episode of Series “A Pattern of People”.
John Forrest is a marine engineer leading a team of designers and engineers using a complex hybrid computer in one of the Glasgow shipyards. The film shows Forrest’s team at work on board ship, in the yards and, in an entirely different field, building a mathematical model of the blood’s chemical processes for the purposes of medical research.
