Narrated by Derek Jacobi this film examines the African termite and its intricately constructed termite hills. Special types of termites perform different functions inside the hills, including communication, cultivation of a special mushroom vital to their diet, care of the eggs, and preparation to start new colonies. Suitable for secondary school level.
