Explores the legal, moral and emotional questions raised by contemporary cults. A young man who was indoctrinated into the Unification Church (Moonies) explains inside workings of the cult, and their parents give an account of the intervention and “deprogramming” of their son. Supplemented by interviews with Dr. Margaret Singer, who has done extensive research on cults and mind control.
