A craftsman at work making a pewter bowl by spinning and shaping a blank for later soldering to a cast base; and a bronze bowls by raising, smoothing, annealing, planishing, and burnishing a blank disc. Methods of constructing a candlestick mould, inserting the core, pouring, removing, and finishing the pewter cast are demonstrated. The designing, chasing, shaping and soldering of the sides and top of a jewel-box are also demonstrated.
