The story of the production of breeding ewes and rams required to maintain high quality Australian wool. Fifty years of experience at “Rockthorpe” stud farm in Tasmania, have produced the Polwarth sheep - a breed suited to both coastal and highland conditions. Shows how the use of a fleec measurement system, individual classification, and selection of breeding-stock brings outstanding results.
