Through penetrating on-camera interviews with parents, many of them former abusers, the film introduces the grim reality of child abuse. Shows hopeful models for dealing with abuse problems. Also looks at positive parenting, and underlines the need for citizen reporting of suspected abuse so that the abusive family can be helped.
