A historical review of the work done on cereal breeding since the establishment of the Department of Agriculture in 1872. Includes shots of many old farming implements housed in the Historical Museum of Jeparit. Shows stages in the development of new varieties of wheat at Werribee Research Farm. Made in connection with centenary of the Department.
