The life and work of the American photographer, Edward Weston. The artist is shown at work in California; shows the manner in which Mr Weston approaches his selection of material for pictorial composition and techniques he uses for developing the print. The film includes glimpses of the home of the artist and studies of the sea and mountain landscape of California. Commentary by Irving Jacoby. Narrated by Mel Brandt.
