Guatemala tells a new story - The United Nations is at work in this Central American country, bringing a new way of life to the inhabitants, who struggle to exist in a barren and unfertile land. 2. Palestine refugees - As a result of political upheaval in the Near East, nearly a million Arab refugees have fled to the deserts of Palestine. The United Nations has set up a Relief and Works Agency to assist these refugees.
