A social studies film outlining the work of Civil Ambulance organisations in an Australian capital city. At all times the specially trained ambulance officers must be ready to answer accident and hospital calls in any part of the city. Ambulance men are seen working in co-operation with a Boy Scout group, in the discovery and rescue of an injured man in an isolated country area.
