An animated film, based on a book by Harry Allard which tells of an old man and his ageing pets, who decides to advertise for a companion to take care of them and pep them all up. A wolf named Cuthbert Q. Devine answers the call, turning their little houseboat into a happier place - but not without some adventures along the way.
