Episode of Series “The World about us”.
An examination of intensive farming methods used in Great Britain today for raising chicken, pigs and vealers. Investigates the question of increased productivity and cheaper food versus animal welfare. There is some evidence that more natural alternatives to factory farming can have much the same production levels for marginally extra cost
