This film looks at the work of staff in museums across the United States. The operation of a modern museum is shown: excavation, conservation, exhibition and education. Selected museum objects are shown being handled by professionals from acquisition to exhibition. The installation of the Tutankhamen exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is shown.
