Richard St. Barbe Baker, a 92 year old conservationist known as the “Man of the Trees” leads the campaign to reclaim the world’s deserts and to prevent virgin forests from destruction. Includes footage from his 1952 Sahara crossing and ecological survey and other archival material that sketches his early life and his involvement with conservation in several countries.
