Generations ago, a harsh climate and back-breaking farmwork inspired Dutch cooks to develop hearty, nutritious dishes. Much of the hardship has subsided, but the traditional foods are still a favourite with the Dutch. Chef Hans Clemens prepares one mouth-watering meal.
