Why does an entire city suddenly go crazy on running? In the land where jogging was ‘invented’ by Arthur Lydiard twenty years ago, a film crew looked closely at how the city of Auckland, population a mere 500,000 is convulsed by preparations for this bizarre annual event, ‘the greatest run on earth’.
