Follows the quest for fame and fortune by the New Zealand rock group, “The Swingers”, in Australia starting with their hit ‘Counting the Beat’ and tracing them through their involvement with the feature film ‘Starstruck’, to their eventual break-up in mid 1982. Includes interviews with promoter Michael Gudinski, the group’s manager, and “The Swingers” themselves as well as several promotion clips.
