An elderly street sweeper, who has grown tired of his supposedly nagging wife, seeks relief from her by meeting the young woman he sees on his cleaning round. Ending up badly beaten, after his intentions have been misunderstood by one of the women, he arrives home to discover a caring wife. They make up and his misguided ways appear over. But are they?
