Looks at the rehabilitation geriatric ward at St. James Hospital, South West London, and some of its patients, most of them over 80. Peter Millard, Professor of geriatric medicine, believes the very old can be made well again if they are given a belief in themselves. The program follows the progress of a number of patients.
