Presents the history of a former Cobb and Co coach house on the Old Sydney Road at Avenel in Central Victoria, from its early days in the 1850s to the present. Explores methods of research showing various techniques used to reconstruct the building’s history: visits to the Central Plans Office, Titles Office and Avenel Cemetery; and an examination of the building’s structure.
