One of a group of modern dances created by Martha Graham. A creative ballet representing her mature creative work. The story is set in Ancient Troy at the time of its fall. When Hecuba, portrayed by Martha Graham, is faced with the inevitable consequence of the violent times, she herself is driven to terrible violence. Music composed and conducted by Eugene Lester: setting by Isamu Noguchi.
